Peach sponsor Inflexion preps exit via Raymond James
Inflexion is preparing to exit its UK video advertising company Peach with an auction scheduled to commence shortly, four sources familiar with the situation said.
The private equity firm has picked Raymond James to handle the process, three of the sources added.
Peach, which operates video advertising software, generates EBITDA of GBP 20m-30m, according to all four sources. The latest public accounts for parent company Iridium TopCo report GBP 13.1m EBITDA on GBP 32.8m revenues in 2020.
Inflexion acquired the London-based company from Vitruvian Partners in 2016. The GP installed Ben Regensburger, former managing director of ProSiebenSat.1 subsidiary SevenOne Media, as CEO last year.
Peach was founded 25 years ago as the video and digital advertising software provider Independent Media Distribution (IMD). It connects 2,500 clients with 14,000 digital and linear media channels in 100 countries, among which it has a physical presence in 36 of them, according to its website. Its clients include Unilever, L'Oreal and Universal Pictures.
Inflexion declined to comment. Raymond James and Peach did not return requests for comment.
