
Aztec appoints new head of ESG

Aztec Group has announced it has hired Caroline Mantoura as the new head of ESG in its UK office.
Aztec Group, a fund and corporate services provider, has hired Caroline Mantoura as head of ESG in a newly-created role.
Mantoura, who is based in the UK, joins from Accenture, where she was the director of operations following a role as a senior member of the sustainability practice for over a decade. She started her career as mechanical design engineer at Arup, an engineering consultancy specialised in low-carbon infrastructure and green buildings, where she was senior sustainability consultant for seven years, according to LinkedIn.
Other recent hires of ESG specialists in the private equity space include appointments by General Atlantic and Inflexion earlier this year.
Aztec Group was established in 2001 and provides independent corporate and fund services, with expertise in areas such as alternative investments. It has more than EUR 440bn assets under administration, with clients in asset classes including private equity and venture capital. It has more than 1,600 employees across Europe and the US.
