HIG Bayside promotes Malezieux to managing director
Special situations and distressed debt-focused GP HIG Bayside Capital has announced the promotion of Mathilde Malezieux to managing director.
The firm said in a statement that Malezieux has more than 16 years of investment banking and distressed investment experience.
Prior to joining HIG, she worked at Normura, focusing on senior and mezzanine debt.
Bayside Capital is an affiliate of Miami-headquartered HIG Capital. The firm's European special situations and debt team is headed by Duncan Priston and Andrew Scotland.
The promotion follows HIG Capital's hiring of Stephan Madsen as a managing director in London, with the aim of leading the activities of the European Middle Market LBO team in the Nordics, as reported.
