Palatine hires investment director from Mobeus Equity

UK-based Palatine has appointed Danielle Garland as investment director in its London buyout team.
Garland joins the sponsor from Mobeus Equity Partners, having worked in M&A since 2008. She started her career as a manager in KPMG’s deal advisory team.
She will be responsible for deal origination, execution, and supporting management teams of portfolio companies to deliver on goals post-deal.
Garland is an advocate for increasing diversity in the workplace. She has arranged events that connect female investors to founders and advisors and will continue to drive diversity initiatives forward at Palatine.
Other recent appointments by Palatine include Carly Sinicrope as an investment manager in the London office, while Rupert Brown has moved from the buyout team to the impact team.
Palatine is deploying equity via its Impact Investing Fund II, which held a final close on GBP 125m in April 2020, and Palatine Private Equity Fund IV, which closed on GBP 250m in May 2021.
