GCA Altium consumer MD to join Clearwater
Christopher Jones, a consumer sector managing director at Houlihan Lokey-owned GCA Altium, is leaving the firm to join Clearwater, two sources told Unquote.
Jones is set to head up a new consumer advisory team for the corporate finance firm from September 2022, according to the sources.
Jones joined GCA Altium – a part of Houlihan Lokey since 2021 – in 2013, according to his website profile. He advises on sectors including leisure, travel, e-commerce and retail.
Jones previously worked at Livingstone Partners, which he joined in 2005, eventually becoming co-head of the consumer sector team, according to the same profile. His other previous experience includes a five-year stint at EY.
Earlier this year, Unquote sister publication Debtwire reported that Clearwater was set to welcome ex-GCA Altium team members Simon Chambers and Richard Clark as partners in its debt advisory team.
Clearwater declined to comment. Houlihan Lokey declined to comment.
