GRO Capital opens London office
GRO Capital, the Danish software specialist private equity firm, has opened an office in London.
To lead the UK team, GRO has hired Johan Olsson, who was CEO of consumer internet business Roscomar for five years and before that was an associate at Summit Partners.
The GP said that the new location supports its continued European expansion efforts and following a move into Oslo, Norway.
The new office, located in Mayfair, will also serve as a recruitment hub.
GRO held a EUR 600m final close for its third fund, GRO Fund III, in March, exceeding its EUR 500m target. It takes both minority and majority investments, with a current portfolio of 12 companies in cybersecurity, manufacturing, vertical, and sustainability software.
Earlier this month, the investor acquired a majority stake in Stockholm-headquartered customer and employee feedback platform Netigate, as reported.
