
Inflexion hires talent director from British International Investment

Mid-market sponsor Inflexion has hired Freddy West as talent director from British International Investment (formerly CDC Group).
West will work with the GP’s portfolio companies to apply talent and human capital best practices to accelerate the growth of their businesses, according to a press release.
In her previous role, she served as director of portfolio management for seven years, leading British International Investment’s human capital function and supporting the chairs, CEOs and executives across their global portfolio companies, according to the press release.
Talent and human capital enhancement is one of the firm’s value acceleration levers, according to the press release. The GP’s teams support portfolio companies with M&A, international expansion, digital enhancement, commercial effectiveness, ESG and talent management.
Funds advised by Inflexion Private Equity Partners have funds under management of circa GBP 7.1bn, according to the press release. The firm made a legal filing in August for Partnership Capital Fund III, the latest fund in its strategy dedicated solely to minority investing, Unquote reported.
The GP held a final close for its second Partnership Capital Fund in May 2018 on GBP 1bn, surpassing its GBP 700m target three months after the registration of the fund, according to Unquote Data.
