Financial Services Capital hires Kieren in IR team

European financial services investor Financial Services Capital (FSC) has hired Geraldine Kieren as a vice president on its investor relations team.
Kieren joins from alternative investment research and portfolio advisory firm Aksia, where she worked as a portfolio adviser in the firm’s private market team. Prior to this, she was an associate in Hamilton Lane’s EMEA relationship management team.
Founded in 2020, FSC invests in European mid-market financial services companies, targeting businesses valued at EUR 50m-EUR 200m. The GP registered its debut vehicle in June 2022, according to Unquote Data. The firm’s current portfolio includes Spain-based consumer finance business Unión Financiera Asturiana.
FSC is led by managing partners Miroslav Boublik and Matthew Hansen. Before founding FSC, Boublik was group head of special projects and managing partner of Home Credit Venture Capital. Hansen has prior experience with firms including financial services-focused Atlas Merchant Capital.
Following Kieren’s appointment, the GP has eight investment professionals and three platform professionals in its team, as well as four operating partners and five senior advisors, according to a press release.
