Peach owner Inflexion to revisit exit plans via Arma Partners
Inflexion plans to revisit a sale of UK video advertising company Peach later this year, sources familiar with the matter said.
The UK mid-market private equity fund is working with advisors at Arma Partners to explore the sale of the London-headquartered video advertising software specialist, according to the sources.
Inflexion, which acquired Peach from Vitruvian Partners in 2016, previously explored a sale of the business last year in a Raymond James-run process, as reported by this news service.
A sale could launch towards the end of the year although no final decision has been made on the timing, the sources said.
Peach is expected to be marketed off EBITDA in the region of GBP 20m, according to one of the sources. It generates around GBP 56m in revenues, added another source.
The company generated EBITDA of GBP 16.7m in the year to 31 December 2021, up from GBP 13.1m recorded in the same period the year before, according to the most recent company filings. Revenues rose to GBP 39.4m from GBP 32.8m in the period.
In June 2022, the company acquired Dutch advertising automation platform Cape for an undisclosed fee.
Peach was founded 25 years ago under the name Independent Media Distribution. It connects more than 2,500 clients with 14,000 digital and linear media channels in more than 100 countries and has a physical presence in 36 of them. Its clients include some of the world’s largest advertisers such as Unilever, L’Oreal and Universal Pictures.
Representatives for Inflexion and Arma Partners declined to comment. Peach did not respond to a request for comment.
