King & Wood Mallesons appoints Brunnen
King & Wood Mallesons has appointed Fried Frankтs Laura Brunnen as a corporate partner in its London office.
Brunnen joins from Fried Frank, where she had been promoted to partner in 2011, having joined the firm in 2009. While at Fried Frank, Brunnen focused on cross-border M&A transactions for both private equity and corporates.
She was previously a senior associate at Kirkland & Ellis, having started her career at Slaughter & May.
The appointment comes just one day after King & Wood Malleson partner Simon Fulbrook left the firm to join Goodwin Procter.
