Terra Firma appoints Nomura's Miholich as MD
Former Nomura exec Peter Miholich has joined Terra Firma as a managing director.
The GP stated that Miholich's experience with credit structuring was a main factor in his appointment.
Having joined Nomura in 2014, Miholich was responsible for the principal credit business in EMEA. Prior to that, he founded and ran his own company, Strategic-Equity, which sourced, structured and executed transactions for two hedge funds.
From 2010 until the end of 2012, Miholich was the global head of strategic equity and head of structuring at Royal Bank of Scotland. He oversaw a $5bn structured lending portfolio and a team of 45 people. He was also a member of the RBS Global Investment Banking Committee.
Miholich started his career at JP Morgan in 1994, where he worked in investment banking and equity derivatives.
The former CEO of British supermarket giant Sainsbury's, Justin King, joined Terra Firma as vice-chair and head of portfolio businesses last month.
