Thomas joins August Equity
Tim Thomas, previously at Bridgepoint Development Capital, has joined August Equity as a director.
Thomas has joined August's investment team, where he will look for new opportunities in the technology services, healthcare and education and business services sectors.
Thomas began his career as a trainee accountant at PwC before moving onto Prudential and then KPMG Corporate Finance.
In 2004, Thomas joined RJD partners where he spent three years. He then moved to Hermes Private Equity in 2007 and was part of the direct investment team that was transferred to Bridgepoint in 2009, marking the creation of Bridgepoint Development Capital. He remained as a partner in this team until the end of last year, working on deals including Evander Glazing & Locks and Beck & Pollitzer, according to unquote" data.
