Endless edges closer to Pizza Hut deal
Turnaround specialist Endless is in exclusive talks to acquire the UK business of Pizza Hut from parent company Yum! Brands, according to reports.
The Leeds-based GP was among a trio of private equity houses understood to have been bidding for Pizza Hut two weeks ago, alongside Rutland Partners and Luke Johnson's Risk Capital Partners. The latter confirmed last week it was out of the running.
Restaurant operator Yum Brands - which also owns KFC and Taco Bell - put the business up for sale earlier in the year to better focus on opportunities in emerging markets. The chain's pizza delivery services are not part of the sale, according to reports.
Endless was not available for comment at this time.
