
Bowmark Capital on healthcare buyout spree
Bowmark Capital is to acquire specialist healthcare provider Hesley North for around £75m, according to reports.
News of the planned acquisition came only two days after it emerged that the GP had bought Care Fertility Group for an estimated £60m.
Bowmark declined to comment.
Hesley North provides residential care and education for people with autism. The deal follows a string of healthcare buyouts recorded by unquote" in the past few months, following the Care Fertility transaction, Terra Firma's £825m acquisition of Four Seasons Health Care, Omers' SBO of Lifeways and Vitruvian Partners' takeover of Healthcare at Home.
Castlebeck, a specialist care provider to vulnerable people, may also be up for sale with private equity being a likely bidder, according to reports.
