Bowmark Capital on healthcare buyout spree
Bowmark Capital is to acquire specialist healthcare provider Hesley North for around ТЃ75m, according to reports.
News of the planned acquisition came only two days after it emerged that the GP had bought Care Fertility Group for an estimated £60m.
Bowmark declined to comment.
Hesley North provides residential care and education for people with autism. The deal follows a string of healthcare buyouts recorded by unquote" in the past few months, following the Care Fertility transaction, Terra Firma's £825m acquisition of Four Seasons Health Care, Omers' SBO of Lifeways and Vitruvian Partners' takeover of Healthcare at Home.
Castlebeck, a specialist care provider to vulnerable people, may also be up for sale with private equity being a likely bidder, according to reports.
