Blacks Outdoor seeks buyer
Outdoors retailer Blacks is seeking a buyer after reportedly receiving approaches from two private equity funds.
The UK retailer, which owns Blacks Outdoor and Millets, has appointed McQueen to advise it, but said there was no certainty that it would be sold.
Previous reports suggest Blacks was approached by two private equity investors, with one thought to be Lion Capital. The firm had come close to administration last year, but managed to seal a last-minute deal with its creditors after making heavy cost savings resulting in store closures and job losses.
