Palatine appoints portfolio head
UK private equity group Palatine Private Equity has appointed Steve Donaldson to head its portfolio.
In this newly created role he will manage the firm's growth plans for its portfolio companies.
Donaldson has previously worked with Palatine's Gary Tipper and Ed Fazakerley while he was finance director at Card Warehouse Group, which was backed by Murray Johnstone and delivered a 2.5x return for the firm in 2003.
Before taking the post at Palatine, Donaldson was finance director at private equity-backed Americana International Group which saw revenues grow from £35m to £80m during his tenure.
