NorthEdge further bolsters team with Plumb hire
NorthEdge Capital has hired Ian Plumb, who previously worked at turnaround firm Endless, as a portfolio director.
Plumb will oversee the progress of NorthEdge's portfolio. He joins from Endless, where he had worked since 2007. Initially an investment professional at the turnaround firm, he was eventually promoted to portfolio director.
Plumb started his career at PwC, where he worked in audit between 2000 and 2003. He then joined Grant Thornton as a manager until his move to Endless in 2007.
NorthEdge appointed Harry Jones as an investment executive in its Manchester office in early September. In August, the GP hired Phoenix Equity Partners' John Rastrick as a partner in its Leeds office. The GP has so far invested £140m from its maiden vehicle, which held a final close on its £225m hard-cap in April 2013, across 11 deals.
