
BPE sells FirstAssist Services for £12.5m
Barclays Private Equity (BPE) has sold business services provider FirstAssist Services to outsourcing company Capita plc for £12.5m.
The company, which has a workforce of 360, reported a turnover of £17.9m and an operating profit of £1.7m for the year ended December 2009.
BPE first acquired the firm in 2003 as part of the £147m management buy-out of First Assist Group. It was demerged from its parent company in late 2006.
