
Alvarez & Marsal’s Rawal joins EY

EY has appointed Ajay Rawal, previously a partner at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), as a partner in its financial services transaction advisory practice.
In his new role, Rawal will focus on transactions and restructurings in the banking sector, having previously advised government agencies and banks throughout Europe on reshaping financial systems and individual banks.
Rawal joins from Alvarez & Marsal, where he spent six years in the financial services group.
Previous roles include head of retention and secured lending at HBOS Mortgages; and retail CEO and board support, also at HBOS. He began his career as a case manager at CVA.
