
Dunedin appoints three to advisory board
Dunedin has appointed David Lockwood, Gerard Lavery and Angus Cockburn to its international advisory board.
Cockburn is the current CFO of Serco, having joined from previous employer Aggreko in October 2014. Prior to that he was managing director of Pringle Scotland, spent five years at PepsiCo and several years at KPMG in the UK and the US.
Lockwood is the current CEO of Laird, a listed UK-based electronics and technology business. He is also non-executive chairperson of Knowledge Transfer Network, and has previously held senior roles at BT, Thales and GEC.
Lavery is CEO and president of GKN Land Systems, a division within GKN focused on growth and operational performance. Previously he was vice-president of global operations at Ingersoll Rand in the US, and has held senior roles at General Electric and GEC Alstom.
The appointments come as Dunedin joins the Alliance for Global Growth, a network of 10 lower-mid-market private equity firms, including European GPs Axcel, Finatem, Nixen, Nazca and US houses Harris Preston Partners, Brentwood Associates, Stone Goff, Wincove and Silver Oak Services Partners. The alliance aims to support growth of its members' portfolio companies and to improve exit opportunities to international buyers.
