Cinven partner Gibson steps down
Cinven partner Rebecca Gibson has stepped down after 11 years at the firm.
Gibson made the move due to personal reasons.
She joined the company in 2002, after a five-year stint at Bain & Company, and was promoted to partnership level in consumer and healthcare seven years later.
Gibson worked on numerous deals over the 11-year period, including the £1.44bn buyout of Spire Healthcare in 2007.
Cinven has been in acquisitive mode this summer, buying Heidelberger Leben from Lloyds for €300m in August, Host Europe for €438m in July and Ceramtec for €1.5bn in June. The deals were completed from the GP's fifth fund, which Cinven topped up to €5.3bn in June this year.
