Trade player considering rival bid for TPG target GlobeOp
Financial software and services company SS&C Technologies is set to outbid TPG Capital's offer for fund hedge fund specialist GlobeOp.
The SS&C offer would be made at 485p per share, 11.5% higher than the previous 435p per share offer from TPG Capital.
Although the bid has yet to be formalised, SS&C states that it has received an indication from the independent directors that they would recommend an offer at the 485p price.
