NorthEdge appoints Moore as CPO
NorthEdge Capital has appointed executive David Moore as chief portfolio officer.
Moore will be working with NorthEdge's new business team in monitoring the firm's portfolio, which currently includes three businesses.
He will offer strategic support, identify new growth opportunities and help in delivering performance improvement. He will also assist with deal origination.
Moore is an accountant who spent 14 years at Ultraframe, a Lancashire-based conservatory systems manufacturer, including more than seven years as chief executive. During his time at Ultraframe, the business acquired Four Seasons, secured investment from 3i and floated on the LSE.
Moore has experience acting as a turnaround and business improvement consultant to corporates and private equity firms, managing cost-out programmes, strategy, working capital reviews and 100-day plans, mainly in the North of England.
Founded by former LDC deal-doers, NorthEdge held a final close for its maiden fund on its £225m hard-cap in April.
