3i exits Frozen Value via management buy-back
UK buyout giant 3i has exited discount grocery retail chain Frozen Value via a management buy-back.
The company, which trades under the Fultons Foods brand, has been in the private equity firm's portfolio for a holding period in excess of 14 years.
It will now be wholly owned by its existing managing director, Kevin Gunter, and finance director Karen Rees.
Frozen Value was founded more than 50 years ago by market trader Jack Fulton.
