GMT hires Jonny Maxwell

Maxwell previously worked as global head of private equity funds-of-funds at Allianz Private Equity Partners. There, Maxwell held overall responsibilites for the firm's indirect private equity activities. He joined Allianz in 2007.

Prior to this, Maxwell founded and led Standard Life Investments (now SL Capital Partners) as CEO in Edinburgh. His career in private equity began in 1984 at Stewart Fund Managers.

Maxwell recently joined the advisory board of Argentex, a foreign exchange specialist providing bespoke advisory and executive services to corporates, institutions, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations.
