Lyceum appoints Rogerson, promotes four
Lyceum Capital has appointed Mark Rogerson (pictured) as a partner in its operations and development team, while also making four promotions.
Rogerson was most recently CEO of Speedy Services – a UK tools, equipment and plant hire services company – a role he took on in December 2013. Prior to that he was managing director of listed company Costain. Previously he spent eight years at Serco, where he held several roles including managing director and group operational efficiency director.
In his new role, Rogerson will work with the management teams of Lyceum portfolio companies to help them grow and build value.
Meanwhile, Lyceum has promoted Ian Williams and Martin Wygas to partner. Williams now takes responsibility for Lyceum's research and origination. He joined the GP as origination director in 2008, having previously been director of corporate finance at Arbuthnot Securities.
Wygas joined in 2009 as an investment director from Travers Smith, where he was an associate.
Elsewhere in the firm, Adam Lewis and Martin Squier have been promoted to investment director. Lewis joined Lyceum in June 2012 as investment manager; he had previously held the same role at NBGI Private Equity for four years.
Squier joined the GP in 2010 from PwC where he was an assistant director in the corporate finance division.
