Goodwin Procter hires Lever for PE practice
Law firm Goodwin Procter has hired Richard Lever as a partner in its London-based private equity practice.
Lever joins from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a partner and co-led the firm's corporate group. During his time at the firm, Lever was particularly focused on mid-market private equity transactions and portfolio company work.
The hire comes as Goodwin Procter is looking to strengthen its private equity work in the UK. The London office was established in 2011 and now comprises 25 lawyers advising on mid-market and growth capital transactions.
