Rutland promotes three

Rutland Partners has promoted Michael Reynolds (pictured) to investment director, with Matthew Hamilton-Allen and Jason Birt elevated to investment managers.
Reynolds was instrumental in Rutland portfolio company Millbrook's bolt-on acquisition of Finnish Test World last year. He has also been involved in the GP's acquisitions of Maplin Electronics and Buy As You View.
Reynolds joined Rutland in 2012 having spent two years in the corporate advisory group of Hawkpoint Partners. Prior to that he worked at KPMG where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
Hamilton-Allen also joined from the corporate advisory group of Hawkpoint at the end of 2014, while Birt joined Rutland in December 2014 from Rothschild. Their promotions recognise their contributions to new deals as well as overall portfolio management.
