
Monument hires new director
Placement agent Monument Group has hired Karl Adam as a director in its London office.
In his new role, Adam will be responsible for German-speaking Europe and some UK-based investors.
Adam was previously vice president at Citi Private Bank where he worked with high-net-worth individuals who wished to invest in a variety of asset classes, including private equity. His responsibilities included sourcing, diligence and fundraising for European private equity.
Prior to working at Citi, Adam spent four years as a senior associate at Alta Advisers, focusing on private equity and natural resources funds. He also worked at Sydney-based Champ Private Equity for two years, focusing on mid-market Australian transactions. Adam began his career as a business analyst at McKinsey & Co.
Monument's clients include Altor Equity Partners and Deutsche Private Equity.
