Electra Private Equity reduces discount to NAV
Electra Private Equity improved its discount to NAV ratio and recorded higher exit and investment activity in the past year.
Electra's NAV discount dropped from 39% on 30 September 2011 to 28% this year. The diluted net asset value per share rose by 11% to £24.73.
Realisations over the recorded period amounted to £301m, as opposed to £286m in the two previous years combined. Exits included the divestments from Amtico, sold for £74.5m (4.2x multiple) in March 2012, and Capital Safety Group, sold for £200m (6.5x multiple) in November 2011.
The total capital invested in the recorded period amounted to £150m, a 10% increase from the year prior.
Electra's results are recorded for the year ending on 30 September 2012.
