SJ Berwin appoints six partners
SJ Berwin has named six new partners, including one new hire, in its London, Frankfurt and Munich offices.
SJ Berwin promoted five associates to partners in its London and Frankfurt offices: Warren Allan, who is involved in the firm's secondaries practice; Louise Freeman, who specialises in litigation; Simon Fulbrook, who is involved in the firm's business development initiatives; Manuela Finger, who focuses on intellectual property; and Andrew Wingfield, who specialises in M&A and financial institutions. All five joined SJ Berwin between 2002 and 2007.
The firm also hired Wolfgang Graf von Schönborn as partner in its Munich office. Von Schönborn joins from Paul Hastings, where he has been partner since 2008. He specialises in real estate, acquisition finance, securitisation and project finance.
