Palatine appoints Ashton
Charlotte Ashton has joined Palatine Private Equity as business development director from Grant Thornton.
In her new role, Ashton will focus on developing relationships with UK businesses and the advisory community.
Ashton joins from Grant Thornton's corporate finance team, where she worked for three years, first in Manchester and then in London. She notably worked on the secondary buyout of SPIE by Clayton Dubilier & Rice.
Ashton qualified as an accountant while working for Martin & Acock between 2003 and 2005, and began her career as a trainee accountant with Sexty & Co.
