
Beechbrook promotes Boorsma to partner
UK-based mezzanine provider Beechbrook Capital has promoted Michiel Boorsma from principal to partner.
Boorsma focuses on deal origination, execution and portfolio management. He joined Beechbrook in 2010 from Nordic Mezzanine, where he had been working since 2006. Prior to this, he held positions at ING and KPMG in the Netherlands.
Beechbrook is currently marketing its second fund and is aiming to reach a first close on more than €60m in Q1 2013. The GP is targeting a final close in the region of €100m by mid-2013, unquote" reported in December. Its first fund is now fully invested.
