FIG launches VC fund for graduates
London-based venture capital firm Find Invest Grow (FIG) has launched its maiden vehicle, the FIG Concept Seed Fund.
The fund will back businesses founded or managed by UK students or recent graduates and will be managed by New Model Venture Capital, an asset management firm launched simultaneously.
The FIG Concept Seed Fund will invest in businesses launched or run by current students and graduates of the last five years that are eligible for the Enterprise Investment Scheme. A broad range of sectors including manufacturing, retail and technology will be considered.
The fund will target high-net-worth investors with a minimum investment of £100,000.
FIG was launched by graduate James King in 2009.
