Sovereign promotes two to partner
Sovereign Capital has promoted Neil Cox and Jeremy Morgan to partner.
Cox joined the firm in 2007, following six years with Rothschild in both the corporate finance team and as a founding member of Rothschild Mezzanine. He was promoted to director at Sovereign in 2012 and has worked on deals including Cordium, Kindertons and Willows. Cox particularly focuses on the business support services sector.
Morgan, meanwhile, joined Sovereign as a director in 2013, having previously been co-head of Barclays Ventures. He also focuses on the business support services sector and has notably worked on the SJD Accountancy/Nixon Williams deal for the GP since joining.
Cox and Morgan will join fellow partners Michael Needley, Dominic Dalli, David Myers, Matthew Owen and Kevin Whittle – all of whom work alongside managing partner Andrew Hayden.
