Mercia expands team
Mercia Fund Management has appointed Talon Golding, formerly of Scion Investment Group, as its new sales and investor relations manager.
In his new role at Mercia, Golding will be responsible for strengthening the firm's relationships with investors and advisers, as well as managing Mercia's funds under management.
Golding joins Mercia following a stint as a sales manager at Scion Investment Group, an arm of the Scion conglomerate, which is a UK-based group of privately-owned investment and advisory businesses.
Prior to Scion, Golding worked as a broker at Welbeck Wealth Management, where his role predominantly involved working with high-net-worth individuals.
The appointment of Golding by Mercia follows hot on the heels of the firm's appointment of former Sega Europe and US CEO, Mike Hayes, as the head of its new digital and e-commerce division.
