Ireland to launch $700m venture capital fund
The Irish government is reportedly working on plans to launch a $700m venture capital fund, in a bid to bolster innovation in the region.
The fund is set to be launched in September and will see the government commit $350m to small businesses over the next five years, while the rest will be sourced from private investors.
Intel Capital capital's Damien Callaghan is understood to have been appointed as chairman of the fund's advisory board.
