
BC Partners loses managing partner
BC Partners' Andrew Newington is understood to have left the firm due to disagreements over future strategy.
Newington left BC Partners after 12 years with the firm. His latest position held was managing partner. He was reportedly involved in BC's latest fund, BC European Capital IX, which closed on €6.5bn in February 2012.
Before joining BC, Newington was working at DB Capital Partners Europe, dealing with equity and structured investments. Prior to that he worked as an M&A solicitor for Ashurst Morris Crisp.
Newington holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a law degree from Exeter University.
