MJ Hudson opens Guernsey office
Law firm MJ Hudson has opened its fourth office, based in Guernsey, and hired two new senior staff to join the practice.
Similar to MJ Hudson's bases in London, Jersey and Hong Kong, the new office will cater to the alternative investment community. It will focus on fund, investment, corporate finance and M&A work.
MJ Hudson has hired Stefan Gomoll to head the new office from Germany-focused firm SG Law, which he had joined as a principal in 2004. Prior to that, Gomoll held roles at Carey Olsen and Clifford Chance.
Gomoll will be assisted by senior investment funds lawyer Matt Wrigley, who joins from an unnamed Guernsey-based law firm. Across his 15-year career, Wrigley has held various roles at investment funds and asset managers.
