LDC appoints director for Reading office
LDC has appointed Alastair Weinel as director in its Reading team, which oversees LDC's operations in the south of the UK.
Weinel was previously managing partner and co-founder at growth capital fund Minority Capital Partners following 10 years at RBS, where he was a managing director of RBS Equity Finance and a co-founder of the RBS Debt Ventures growth capital business.
At LDC, Weinel will be in charge of originating and executing deals in southern England and Wales. Previous investments led by Weinel include Folgate Partnership (Towergate), Wightlink, Sporting Index, Morris Homes and Cygnet Healthcare.
