Feeney joins Palatine's advisory board
Michelle Feeney, the former CEO of self-tanning company St Tropez, has joined Palatine Private Equityтs executive advisory board.
In her new role, Feeney will support Palatine's deal origination efforts and will advise Palatine portfolio companies.
Feeney was previously CEO of self-tanning company St Tropez, which was backed by LDC in April 2006 and sold to PZ Cussons in September 2010. As part of that deal she joined PZ Cussons and headed up the formation of PZ Cussons Beauty in London, New York and Melbourne.
She began her career in fashion show production and PR in the early 1980s before setting up her own PR and marketing agency. Later, she joined Estée Lauder, where she worked on branding products. Other projects include launching Tommy Hilfiger's entrance onto the perfume market.
Feeney was appointed vice-president of global communications at Mac Cosmetics following its acquisition by Estée Lauder in 1996.
