Ipes appoints two
Ipes has appointed Peter Fairweather as depositary director and Gary Mauger as operations director.
Fairweather joins the firm from Forsyth Place Consultants, where he worked with a French custodian bank to bring funds into its depositary and trustee business under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. Previously, Fairweather spent six years with RBC Investor Services, where he was director of client management. He has also held positions at RBC Dexia Investor Services, BNY Mellon and HSBC.
Mauger has joined Ipes's Guernsey office as operations director to oversee a team of 70 operational staff. He joins from State Street in Guernsey, where he was head of alternative investment services. Prior to joining State Street in 2012, Mauger was client services director at Legis Fund Services and previously director at Carey Group.
