
L Capital sets up shop in London

L Capital, the private equity arm of LVMH Group, is set to open a new office in London.
The new London office will be headed up by Paul Skipworth, former president and managing director of Glenmorangie and senior vice president of strategy for Moet Hennessy, LVMH Wines & Spirits.
Skipworth has been with LVMH for 12 years, joining the luxury goods house in 2003. In 2009, he was promoted to COO of Glenmorangie, LVMH's whisky business based in Edinburgh.
He began his career with LEK Consulting, focusing on corporate strategy. He then worked with venture capital fund IncubAsia.
Skipworth studied at Insead Business School and Imperial College London.
