Kirkland & Ellis adds two partners to London office
Kirkland & Ellis International LLP has appointed Gavin Gordon and David Arnold as partners at its Private Equity Practice Group in London.
Both Gordon and Arnold were previously partners at the London office of Ashurst LLP, and have experience in advising private equity firms on a wide range of matters.
Gordon recently led Merlin Entertainment and Blackstone's funding for Legoland, Florida, while Arnold advised Apax on its $830m buyout of Sophos.
James Learner, partner at Kirkland's London office, said: "Gavin and David have proven themselves intelligent, creative and driven, and they bring a lot to the table for our clients. We are very excited they will be joining out global private equity team in London."
