
Graphite hires Lyceum’s Baker as investment director

Graphite Capital has made several new hires and promotions including the appointment of Lyceum Capital Partners’ Humphrey Baker as investment director.
Baker (pictured) joins following a six-year stint at Lyceum, where he most recently worked as an investment director and was involved in portfolio management and deal origination and execution.
Prior to joining Lyceum, Baker worked as a management consultant at EY. In his new role at Graphite, he will specialise in the IT services and software sectors.
Graphite has also hired Liam McGivern and Alex Mills as investment managers. McGivern joins from Pricoa Capital Group, where he worked on European mezzanine investments. Prior to that, he worked on the restructuring and transaction services team at Deloitte.
Mills joins from a managerial position in the financial restructuring advisory team at KPMG.
Graphite has also announced several promotions within the firm: Simon May, who joined in 2010; Colm Walsh, who also joined in 2010 as senior financial controller; and Andrea Fernandez, who joined in 2011 as an investment manager in the fund investment team have all become investment directors.
