Addleshaw Goddard appoints new PE head
Law firm Addleshaw Goddard has promoted Yunus Seedat to national head of private equity in the UK.
Seedat (pictured) replaced previous head of private equity Andrew Carpenter, who was appointed divisional managing partner for the firm's new international division. Both appointments were effective from 1 May.
Seedat became a partner at Addleshaw Goddard in 2001. He has since then advised a range of private equity houses and management teams. Most recently he has been involved in the management buyouts of Natural Products Worldwide and CTC Aviation Group by Inflexion, as well as the sale of Admiral Taverns to Cerberus Capital.
In addition, Addleshaw Goddard bolstered its private equity team by hiring partners including Ben Rodham – joining from Linklaters – and Tim Wheldon.
