
SL Capital promotes three in Europe
Funds-of-funds manager SL Capital has promoted Richard Chapman and Cameron Graham to the position of investment director, as well as Andrzej Plichta to investment manager.
Chapman, who joined the firm in 2007, is focused on the European turnaround equity market, as well as the Italian and Benelux buyout markets. Before joining SL Capital, he worked at Noble Group dealing with private and public M&A and advisory projects as part of the corporate finance team.
Graham, who joined SL Capital in 2008, is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the French market. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the Financial Services Advisory practice at Ernst & Young as part of the investment management sector team.
Plichta joined SL Capital in 2010 and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the CEE and Russian markets. He worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley, in both the commodities and fund services divisions, before joining the firm.
All three are based in SL Capital's Edinburgh office. The firm has raised approximately €6.5bn through 16 funds in the last 14 years.
SL Capital also promoted John Cancellieri to the position of investment director for the firm's North American sector. Cancellieri is based in SL's Boston office.
