Willkie Farr hires two for London PE practice
Law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher has hired Matthew Dean and Claire McDaid as corporate partners.
The pair have joined the firm's private equity practice in its London office. Both are former partners of Kirkland & Ellis, where they worked in the firm's London office.
Dean will focus predominantly on fund formations, buyouts and venture capital investments. His clients at Kirkland included Bain Capital, Summit Partners, CapVest and HIG Capital.
McDaid will focus on cross-border private equity deals, including acquisitions, divestments and financings.
