Balderton, DFJ and Index sell LOVEFiLM to Amazon
Balderton Capital, DFJ Esprit and Index Ventures have exited one of Europeтs largest entertainment subscription businesses, LOVEFiLM, via a trade sale to Amazon.
The online DVD rental and movie download company was founded in 2003 and has since grown organically and through at least 10 mergers and acquisitions across Europe.
Dharmash Mistry, partner, led the deal for Balderton, while Saul Klein represented Index.
