McKean joins Stevenson James
Tim McKean, former equity partner and member of the senior executive team at 3i Debt, has joined executive search firm Stevenson James.
In his new role as director, McKean will be responsible for investor relations, leading mandates for investment, and fundraising within the private debt markets.
McKean was previously an equity partner and member of the senior executive team at 3i Debt Management (formerly Mizuho Investment Management), a credit fund business set up in 2003.
Between 1998-2003, McKean worked within Mizuho's origination team in the leveraged finance business.
The appointment highlights continued investor demand for private debt funds, with these vehicles needing to boost their investor relations functions.
